I have worked with children and adults with autism, special educational needs and disabilities for the
past five years and love to enrich people’s lives. I find it so rewarding to work with those in need. It
is a real privilege to witness people learn and grow and I gain great satisfaction in knowing that I am
helping them to do this. I also appreciate the opportunity to help them to build relationships and promote
their independence and self-reliance. I am passionate about helping those in need to reach their
potential. These skills I believe are perfect for great therapist.
I take pride in the fact that I am somebody who is very empathic, accepting and respectful of others and
their experiences and I find that this makes people feel confident to share their worries and concerns
with me as they know that I will not judge them or make them feel uncomfortable.
I firmly believe in inclusion and diversity and that everyone, no matter of background, culture, race or
religion should have access to counselling, as we all need somebody to talk to and share our problems
with. This is something vitally important to me as I feel it a tragedy that some people cannot access help
if they cannot afford to do so. Therefore, I also offer low cost therapy for lower income clients.
I believe in an integrative approach to TA, which means that I integrate other psychotherapy approaches
into my practice. One such area that I believe can be greatly beneficial to clients is an understanding
called the Three Principles. Which, like TA helps clients to focus on the here and now and not to become
consumed or limited by their habitual thinking.
You are not broken. You have nothing lacking in you. You do not need to be fixed.
My role is to help you move towards a version of your self that you feel happier with. This we will do
together. Side by side.
